US Figure Skating agrees partnership with Hilton
Hilton Worldwide has become the exclusive hotel partner of US Figure Skating.
The two-year deal includes an agreement that will see the hotelier become title sponsor in 2011 and 2012 for Skate America, the annual International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series event held in the United States. Hilton Worldwide will also receive branding opportunity at Skate America events, logo placement on Team USA apparel, print, TV and in-arena marketing rights and finally, presenting sponsorship rights at the annual meeting of US Figure Skating's Governing Council.
"We are extremely happy to add Hilton Worldwide to our growing list of national partners," US Figure Skating executive director David Raith said. "Hilton Worldwide has been a supporter of the Olympic movement and US Figure Skating through their relationship with the USOC for many years and this new partnership takes our relationship with a premier global company to another level."
“Through this partnership, we are delighted to deepen our commitment to U.S. Figure Skating and continue to provide support for the athletes, professional members and their families," said Jeff Diskin, senior vice president, global customer marketing, Hilton Worldwide. "We look forward to sponsoring the dynamic and high profile Skate America event for the next two years and providing a visible platform for our Hilton Honors brand."
Both competitors and fans will receive discounts at Hilton hotels worldwide.
