Tim Vaughan secures new stable sponsor
Tim Vaughan, the racehorse trainer who has more than 70 winners and £370,000 in prize money this season, has signed a new stable sponsor.
Morgan Peterson Investment & Pension Specialists have signed a three-year agreement with the Welshman, who only began training horses in 2007. Vaughan's runners will all carry the company's branding. Financial details were not released, but the deal is thought to be worth more than US$50,000 per year.
"I am delighted to announce that Morgan Peterson Investment & Pension Specialists based in Cardiff have signed a three year agreement to sponsor my owners, stables and Tim Vaughan with effect from today," said Vaughan. "This is an excellent partnership with a National Financial Services Company based locally in Cardiff. My runners will carry the sponsors' branding amd my owners will benefit from the VAT concessions afforded by from a stable sponsorship."
Lesley-Anne Creffield, principal of Morgan Peterson, added: "Morgan Peterson are delighted to be sponsoring Tim Vaughan Racing. We recognise all the qualities in Tim that we associate with our business and we look forward to developing our partnership with Tim to the mutual benefit of everyone."
