Red Bull and NBC Sports unveil Signature Series
Red Bull Media and the NBC Sports Group have announced the signing of a long-term partnership that will see the launch of a new action sports property, the Red Bull Signature Series.
Beginning in January 2012, the new partnership sees NBC and its associated channels airing 35 hours of action sports programming - including the Red Bull X-Fighters, the Red Bull Cold Rush and the Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championships - throughout the year.

According to an official press released, 'The Red Bull Signature Series will include the most progressive and innovative snowboarding, mountain biking, freestyle motocross, ice cross downhill, skiing and BMX events, showcased on custom courses from the inspiration of the athletes themselves.'
"This partnership is an amazing opportunity to create a new global property with a terrific brand in Red Bull, who already produces premium events and world class content," said Wade Martin, president of NBC's action sports arm Alli Sports. "The Red Bull Signature Series has amazing growth potential and provides a tremendous opportunity for other brands to be part of some of the world's most unique sporting events with the NBC Sports Group and Red Bull Media House."
Red Bull Media House North America managing director Werner Brell added, "We look forward to partnering with the NBC Sports Group to expand their footprint in sports and deliver unique competition programming that you don't see every day."
The first Red Bull Signature Series event on NBC will be the Crashed Ice World Championships on Saturday 21st January 2012. Other highlights of the series include the Red Bull Rampage, the Red Bull Supernatural and the Red Bull Dream Line.
