Medibank supports Australia’s future tennis stars
Australian health insurer Medibank has upped its commitment to Australian tennis by sponsoring Tennis Australia’s Junior Development Series.
The three-year deal sees Medibank, a sponsor of the Australian Open Grand Slam event, offer support for over 250 junior tournaments for beginners to intermediate-level ability around the country.
The announcement comes as Australian number one men’s player Bernard Tomic, who beat Chinese number two Wu Di in their Asia Oceania Zone One Davis Cup tie earlier today, was unveiled as the ambassador for the Series.
